ROAD & PROPERTY MAINTAINER
The Town of Waitsfield is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to join the Road Department as its Road & Property Maintainer. The position includes maintenance of the town’s road network including summer and winter maintenance, equipment operation and maintenance, and property maintenance of certain town lands including snow plowing and mowing. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical skills, have experience operating heavy equipment, and work cooperatively as part of four-person road crew team. A CDL certification is preferred but not required to start.
The position is full time, 40 hours a week and eligible for employee benefits, with some overtime hours as necessary, especially in the winter. The salary range is $23.00 – $27.00 hourly, depending on experience. This position is open until filled.
