Seeking a zoning permit, guidance on a project, an E-911 address, or just have questions?
The Town is currently engaged in a hiring process to replace its Planning and Zoning Administrator. During that period, zoning and development review services are scheduled to be provided by experienced staff from the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission.
An interim zoning administrator will be in the office, generally, on Tuesday mornings between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Permit applications should be processed weekly; this is on par with the processing time under normal staffing conditions and far shorter than the 30 days allowed by law. Individual applications may be approved or denied on a different timeline, depending on circumstance or complexity.
