Austin Parcel Invasives Control RFP Released

The Waitsfield, VT Conservation Commission is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the chemical free (i.e., mechanical/manual) control of common Buckthorn and Japanese knotweed on a 5-acre parcel bordering the Mad River in the Town of Waitsfield. With the consultation of the Vermont Land Trust, this parcel is under the stewardship of the Conservation Commission.

If you have an interest in assisting the Commission in addressing its management goals, we have included an attachment that outlines the requirements that will serve to inform your decision. Please respond with questions to the Commission at the close of business by February 6, 2018. The Commission will respond to your questions on February 20, 2018. Proposals will be due March 27, 2018.
